ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition | Gaming Review with Snapdragon 8 Elite!
Unboxing Asus’ ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition, with a review of the gaming performance, battery life and more after days of testing. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition is the best gamer smartphone in 2024. But with the Red Magic 10 Pro etc about to launch, will it stay that way?
Most areas of this beefy blower have been upgraded in some way vs the 8 Pro from last year. You’ve got slightly improved cameras, a 185Hz AMOELD display, a bigger 5800mAh battery etc. But the ROG Phone 9 Pro’s biggest update is the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the best brains for your gaming good times right now.
I’ve been playing a lot of Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves and Call of Duty on this super-powered smartphone to test it out ahead of launch. So far I’ve been really enjoying it. Asus as usual has packed it full of great gaming features, including X Sense, AI Grabber and those Air Triggers. The SD 8 Elite is an absolute s word house in the ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition, serving up a fluid frame rate with surprisingly little heat build-up. This Edition model also comes with an Aeroactive Cooler X Pro, with the added bonus of bass boosting subwoofer action.
That’s the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro, check out my unboxing and review of the Red Magic 10 Pro, coming soon!
